Pre-Purchase Building Inspections

This is the most commonly purchased Building Inspection Report.  It is a must when purchasing a building.  The property inspection should be carried out as early in the buying process as possible.  This will enable the buyer to make a better, informed decision as to whether they should proceed with the purchase. We recommended and strongly encourage your presence at our inspections. 

Don’t be caught out with one inspector carrying out the two specialist inspections. 

At Premier Building Reports, we send our Director, Scott Hayes who is a fully licenced unrestricted builder and Building Inspector along with a separate fully qualified timber pest inspector to conduct the timber pest inspection.  Having two expert inspectors means you receive approx. 3 hours of onsite investigations.  Put simply, 4 eyes are better than two! Leave the Building Inspection to a Builder and the Pest Inspection to a pest expert.

 

A laser-based tool that enables us to detect the floor level and plumb of a building. This provides an accurate assessment for potential subsidence issues not visible by eye. This tool is used by us in all our inspections providing the purchaser with peace of mind and no second guesswork. Borescopes are used for inspection work where the area to be inspected is inaccessible by other means. Building and Pest inspectors use a borescope to view behind walls for structural issues, mould, termite damage, water damage, etc.
